The West Lampeter Township Police Department is a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, full service law enforcement agency serving the needs of the West Lampeter Township community. Established in 1937 as a one-man department and originally housed in a one room schoolhouse, our department relocated in 2004 to its present location of 852 Village Road. Currently comprised of 17 full-time sworn officers and 2 civilian staff members, our Department takes a proactive approach to law enforcement and community policing within the Township’s 16 square mile jurisdiction. We take great pride in providing exemplary service to the West Lampeter Township community.

On behalf of the men and women of the West Lampeter Township Police Department, I’d like to welcome you to the West Lampeter Township Police Department. The men and women of the West Lampeter Township Police Department strive to provide an honest, professional and effective police service to the residents and visitors of our Township. As Chief of Police I consider it both an honor and a privilege to serve this community and all those who live, work and visit here.
