To help ensure safety in all building construction, the township adopted the 2004 Pennsylvania building code, known as the Uniform Construction Code (UCC), and its amendments in 2006, 2009, and 2012. The UCC applies to all residential and commercial constructions projects. It shall be the joint responsibility of the owner, lessee, if any, and the contractor to determine that a Construction Code permit (and all other required permits and approvals) has been obtained before performing any work. It shall be unlawful for any contractor or subcontractor to perform any work for which a Construction Code permit is required unless the owner and contractor obtain and post a Construction Code permit as required by this Construction Code.
Permit applications can be obtained via the links below and can be submitted via email or by dropping off at the Township office. Hardcopy applications can also be found at the Township office.
**Digital copies of plans required with all permit submissions. Email submissions can be sent to email@example.com. If you have zoning or building questions, you can email Kim or Michele.
