The West Lampeter Township Police Department will hold its third annual “National Night Out” event from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. A parade will kick-off the event at 5:30 p.m. starting at Candlestick Square Development on Village Road (at Kimberly Court) and proceed west on Village Road to the fairgrounds.
A nation-wide initiative for the purpose of educating the community on crime prevention and maintaining good police community relations, the event will be held at the Lampeter Fairgrounds and be conducted by law enforcement and public safety organizations from throughout the County. There will be police and fire demonstrations, equipment displays, and FREE food and beverages.
