The U.S. Census Bureau has expanded the American Community Survey normally performed every ten years. In order to collect and provide socio-economic census information on a yearly basis, rather than every ten years, a questionnaire has been prepared and will be sent to a sample number of households throughout the country. Collecting this information will allow the Census Bureau to conduct a short form-only census in 2010.

Each month, a number of different households in West Lampeter Township will receive the questionnaires. The surveys are to be completed and returned to the Census Bureau. Please be aware that response to the survey is mandatory.
