Our Bike Unit consists of certified officers who periodically patrol shopping areas, school-related activities, Fairground events, and other various community activities. The creation and implementation of the Bike Unit here at West Lampeter Township Police Department was made possible by the generosity of local businesses who donated the funding necessary to purchase the bikes and equipment for this Unit. The Bike Unit has been very effective in police patrol and in bringing the officers into close communication with community residents, students, and business owners.
