RE-ROOF Sealed Bids will be received by the Township Manager at the Township office located at 852 Village Road, P.O Box 237, Lampeter, PA 17537 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on Thursday, July27, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for RE-ROOF TOWNSHIP BUILDING.
Each Bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside as such: “Bid for West Lampeter Township, Re-Roof.”
Bidders may obtain documents from West Lampeter Township, Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. or on www.westlampeter.com. All Bidders are responsible for visiting the site of proposed work during normal business hours.
Bid security in an amount ten (10) percent of the bid, will be required in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, bond treasurer’s check or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as oblige the West Lampeter Township. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with applicable law.
Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. The project involves the maintenance of existing facilities therefore the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall not apply. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each with satisfactory corporate surety will be required to be furnished by the successful bidders at the time stated in the specifications.
West Lampeter Township hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities in Bids received; to reject any and/or all Bids submitted and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be in the best interest of the Municipality.
